illustration midterm, inspired by the snow queen. it ended up just being about gerda + kai’s friendship, i ran out of time to actually make it fit the story better. ;n; modern au in which the troll-mirror shards (they reflect only what is bad and ugly) and winter are symbols of depression, and gerda struggles to understand why her friend isn’t happy anymore.
